Iran-Turkey Economic Consortium Visits Aras Free Zone
Focus on the Hydroponic Greenhouse “Aras Tarla”
Members of the Iran-Turkey Economic Consortium recently visited the Aras Free Zone, one of Iran’s most dynamic economic hubs. During the visit, the modern hydroponic greenhouse “Aras Tarla” was highlighted as a flagship project in advanced agriculture.
Equipped with state-of-the-art soilless cultivation (hydroponics) technology, the Aras Tarla greenhouse has the capacity to produce high-quality, export-oriented agricultural products. This project stands as a successful example of how Iran’s Free Zones can attract investment in modern and sustainable farming.
Consortium members emphasized that expanding such projects could play a key role in boosting agricultural exports, attracting foreign investors, and strengthening Iran-Turkey economic cooperation.
Thanks to its strategic location and access to international markets, particularly in the Caucasus region, the Aras Free Zone is considered a highly attractive destination for investors in agribusiness and related industries.
At the end of the visit, the Iran-Turkey Economic Consortium announced its readiness to introduce investment opportunities in modern greenhouses and other projects within the Aras Free Zone to both domestic and international stakeholders.
